More about this plan

The lowest-stakes good date in Reykjavík. Meet at Bæjarins Beztu, the legendary hot dog stand near the harbour, and order one with everything — "eina með öllu". Bill Clinton ate one. You will too.

Walk it off along the Old Harbour, past the whale-watching boats and the Harpa glass facade, and finish at the Sun Voyager sculpture facing the bay. The whole thing is ninety minutes and under 1500 kr and you'll have gotten a real sense of whether you like spending time with this person.

The plan, stop by stop

  1. 1

    Bæjarins Beztu Pylsur

The famous hot dog cart by the harbour. One each, "eina með öllu" (one with everything). Eat standing up.
