More about this plan

Nauthólsvík is the summer move: a small engineered beach on the Skerjafjörður where a geothermal hot lagoon (38°C) sits feet from the cold Atlantic. You alternate — hot, then brave the cold for thirty seconds, then hot again. It's a practice, not an activity. By the end you'll feel about four years younger.

Bus or cab back into town and go straight to Tacobarinn on Laugavegur for fish tacos and a tepache. Summer date, sorted.
